Racines d'ortie et cancer de la prostate


Une étude a évalué l'activité d'un extrait de racine d'ortie (Urtica dioica) sur l'activité proliférative de cellules humaines de cancer de la prostate. Un effet significatif antiprolifératif de l'extrait a été observé seulement sur les cellules cancéreuses de la prostate (réduction de 30% de la croissance) pendant 7 jours. Il n'y avait pas d'effet cytotoxique de l'extrait sur la prolifération cellulaire.
