Lutéine et cancer des ovaires


L'alimentation de 327 femmes atteintes d'un cancer des ovaires a été comparée à celle de 3.129 sujets en bonne santé. Les femmes qui consommaient les plus grandes quantités de lutéine et de zéaxanthine (jusqu'à 24 mg par semaine) avaient 45% moins de risque de développer un cancer des ovaires que celles qui en consommaient peu ou pas du tout (moins de 4 mg par semaines).
