Extraits de pépins de raisin et bactéries de la plaque dentaire

pépins de raisinDans un essai in vitro, les chercheurs ont regardé si un extrait de pépins de raisin pourrait inhiber le Porphyromonas gingivalis et le Fusobacterium nucleatum, deux bactéries anaérobies responsables de la gingivite et de la mauvaise haleine. Les résultats ont indiqué que l'extrait de pépins de raisin montrait une activité antibactérienne à l'égard de ces deux souches. De plus, l'extrait semblait pénétrer à travers le biofilm enrobant les bactéries pour les protéger des agents antimicrobiens. Le biofilm de la plaque dentaire est particulièrement complexe.
